The Embraer Executive Jet Center was an existing facility located at the Fort Lauderdale/
Hollywood International Airport. The plans called for the construction of a new
35,000 sq ft warehouse, a 34,000 sq ft airplane hanger and parking lot renovations.
The construction was performed in three phases to allow the existing facilities
to operate without interruption. Belair was contracted to perform a full sitework
package including; mass excavation & grading, storm sewer, water, sanitary sewer,
fire line installations, asphalt paving & base, curb/sidewalk installation and various
other items. During construction of this project, Belair was awarded the portions of
the Foam Fire Suppression System, which included the installation of a 50,000
gallon foam storage tank, 3,000 gallon storage tank and a 5,500 gallon oil water
separator.
