SAINT LUKE’S

Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children At Presbyterian St. Luke’s - Denver, CO

This $113 million, 80,000 SF addition to the active Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital presented many unique challenges. Construction occupied the entire east side of the campus as well as the adjacent roadways on two of the four main access roadways surrounding the facility. Construction consisted of water and sanitary main extensions within the public right-of-way as well as over 900’ of 60” diameter corrugated metal detention piping required to be installed on the existing, active campus. Maintaining access to the hospital as well as several other businesses operating in the immediate vicinity was sustained only due to extensive coordination and around the clock construction.
