Pitch Mine Remediation - Denver, CO

Belair installed and connected to the treatment trailer, injection walls and approximately 15 extraction wells. The system in these photos is extracting Uranium tainted water from the mine shaft, treating it and re-injecting it into the mine.

Project Facts:

  • Work Occurred between 10,000 & 11,000 feet.

  • High elevation meant reduced oxygen & slower production efforts.

  • 6 week project was completed on time, before winter.

  • Taking deliveries on equipment & materials was challenging.

  • 4200 Linear feet of HDPE piping.

  • Pipe was anchored with stainless steel anchors.
