Project Synopsis: This is a replacement of the existing leachate gravity discharge line with a dual wall (4” inside an 8”) HDPE forcemain.  Work included all pumps controls and electrical services.

Project Facts:

• Work was performed within an active Landfill facility

• Over one mile of 4” HDPE pipe was inserted into an 8” HDPE containment pipe.

• Setting a 96” diameter concrete wet-well over 20 feet deep

• Field applied coatings inside all concrete structures

• Installed flowmeter system

• Installed Tri - plex pump system

• Control Panel with SCADA system

• New electrical service

• New connection to the Met Council waste water system.

• Total Contract Value: $1.2 million.
