Magellan Rail Loading & Ethanol Automation - Roseville, MN
Belair was contracted to complete the Civil portion of a petroleum rail loading facility and a truck ethanol unloading rack. The work involved in this project included the layout, excavation, concrete foundations and slabs, structural steel pipe stands and catwalks. Belair also installed operator buildings, equipment buildings and trucker shelters. The project was a renovation to an existing facility and required the work to be accomplished near and around active and abandoned pipes, conduits and grounding systems. Pipe supports ranged from 4 feet above grade to 22 feet above grade. Also installed was a storm water system including a 15,000 gallon separator tank.
